We are looking for a part-time team member to join us!
Your responsibilities will be as follows:
- Supervising dogs in the inside and outside the play areas and ensuring safe dog interaction. Inside is climate controlled and outside based on the weather.
- Maintaining proper sanitation procedures including but not limited to scooping poop, cleaning up after the dogs, and general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, cleaning up dog hair, and ensuring the dogs have a clean play environment.
- Maintaining proper communication with other members of staff and management.
- Paid training is required, we expect you to be dog play knowledgeable!
Requirements:
- Passion for dogs
- Prior daycare and/or dog handling experience (preferred but not required)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Good communication skills and great attitude
- Can work as part of a team and cooperative with others
- Ability to define problems, analyze, and think on your feet
16-20 hours per week based on scheduling needs. Shifts can range from 7am-3pm to 9:30am-6pm. Priority will be given to candidates with flexibility in their availability.
Must be able to provide 2 professional references and pass a background check.
