Our company is looking for a barista to join our team!
We are currently hiring in Coupeville and Oak Harbor locations!
Barista responsibilities include educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates. You should also be able to work various shifts.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers
- Answer questions regarding ingredients
- Prepare coffee, tea and other beverages
- Serve beverages and prepare food, like cookies, pastries and muffins
- receive and process payments
- Keep the stand clean
- Stock back stock
- Check brewing equipment operates properly and report and maintenance needs
- Comply with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate customer feedback a to manager and recommend new menu ideas
Qualifications
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time
- Capacity to work well under pressure and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a barista role, preferred
- Clean equipment and entire stand areas
- Maintain a calm demeanor during high volume periods
- Order products as needed
- Must have great customer service skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.13 per hour
