Job Overview
We are seeking a detail oriented, tech forward Junior Accountant to join our team. This is a growth position that offers an exciting opportunity to develop accounting skills within a corporate non-manufacturing environment. You will assist the team and contribute to the accurate preparation of financial documents.
Duties
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with bookkeeping procedures, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Enter and verify journal entries using accounting software such as QuickBooks and proprietary software.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Assist with maintaining LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations.
Skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles such as double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and accrual accounting.
- Familiarity with financial concepts including financial statement preparation and interpretation.
- Take pride in error free work and teamwork collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3 years’ successful experience in a non-manufacturing accounting environment
- QuickBooks experience
- Advance knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Adobe, and online platforms.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
