Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and process payments efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare and assemble menu items swiftly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end.
- Maintain cleanliness of the food truck, including food prep areas, serving stations, and dining spaces by bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations to guarantee safe and high-quality meals.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and communicating supply needs promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle transactions accurately and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing multiple tasks like cashiering, cooking, and cleaning.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and order calculations.
- Experience in kitchen operations or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafes is a plus.
