Luna’s Cakes & Coffee is looking for a reliable and passionate baker to join our growing team! We are a from-scratch bakery and café specializing in custom cakes, desserts, and specialty coffee. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in creating high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake cakes, cupcakes, cookies, bars, and daily pastry offerings
- Make fillings, frostings, buttercreams, mousses, syrups, and other components from scratch
- Follow recipes and production schedules accurately
- Prepare ingredients and maintain organized kitchen prep stations
- Assist with inventory organization and stocking
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the kitchen
- Help ensure products are ready for daily café service and custom orders
Requirements
- Prior baking or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are extremely important
- Must be available for morning shifts and weekends
Schedule
- Morning shifts required
- Weekend availability required
- Part-time or full-time opportunities available depending on experience and availability
