Nursing Program Coordinator
Position Summary
The Nursing Program Coordinator is responsible for providing academic support, curriculum support, and mentorship to instructional staff. The instructor ensures that course objectives are met, student learning outcomes are achieved, and instructional practices align with institutional standards. May also be responsible to deliver high quality instruction to students when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Support
- Coordinate and oversee second-semester course content and instructional delivery.
- Ensure curriculum alignment with program outcomes, accreditation requirements, and industry standards.
- Facilitate and support instructional staff in reviewing and updating course pacing, instructional materials, lesson plans, and assessments to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with program objectives.
- Recommend improvements to instructional methods and learning resources.
Faculty Mentorship
- Serve as a resource and mentor for instructors teaching nursing courses.
- Support onboarding and professional development of faculty members.
- Facilitate instructional collaboration.
- Promote consistency in grading, assessment, course expectations, and policy adherence.
- Prepare reports related to course outcomes and program effectiveness.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and accreditation activities.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and academic regulations
Qualifications
Required
- Master’s Degree
- Previous teaching experience.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with learning management systems and educational technology, Experience with ATI products preferred.
Working Conditions
- Classroom, laboratory, and clinical learning environments.
- May require occasional evening activities, meetings, or student support sessions.
- This position is scheduled to work from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., providing leadership and support for instructional activities during day and evening operations.
Pay: $97,468.00 - $114,594.00 per year
