Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and dedicated CDL A drivers to join our team for Over-the-Road (OTR) flatbed hauling. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight across long distances, primarily focusing on flatbed loads that require secure and careful handling. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, combined with a strong commitment to safety and customer service, will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all federal and state regulations. Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers with automatic transmission across OTR routes, ensuring compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations.
- Safely load, secure, and unload flatbed freight, including specialized cargo such as construction materials, metals, coils or oversized equipment.
- Navigate using GPS systems efficiently to meet delivery schedules while optimizing routes for fuel efficiency and safety.
- Handle logistics cargo with precision, including securing loads on flatbeds and managing dangerous goods in accordance with materials regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure trucks meet safety standards before each trip.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience operating flatbed trucks and handling freight requiring manual handling skills.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time tracking.
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for truck driving.
- Experience with route driving across long distances in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record;

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,500.00 per week
