Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with each patient’s unique needs and goals
- Deliver evidence-based speech therapy interventions across geriatric adult populations, including early intervention cases
- Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques, exercises, and strategies for ongoing improvement
- Monitor progress regularly, adjusting treatment approaches to optimize outcomes
- Document all patient interactions accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations and agency policies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure holistic patient support
Requirements
- Valid licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in GA.
- Proven experience working with geriatric populations is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Ability to perform detailed patient assessments and interpret clinical data effectively
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients, families, and team members clearly and compassionately
- Prior school experience or familiarity with educational settings is a plus but not required

Pay: $70.00 - $145.00 per hour
