JOB TITLE: Rehab Coordinator
Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt (~35 hrs/week)
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Position Summary
The Rehab Coordinator supports daily operations in our Rehab Department, working alongside our rehab team and aides to deliver safe, well-organized therapy services to participants. The role combines participant-facing coordination during morning sessions with documentation and data entry responsibilities later in the day. Reports to the Physical/Occupational Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily participant intake and flow within the Rehab Department
- Verify participant eligibility for treatment in collaboration with the therapist
- Maintain accurate department logs and treatment records throughout the day
- Work alongside Servicing Aides to keep sessions running smoothly and on schedule
- Enter daily treatment data into our electronic documentation system
- Escalate safety concerns, irregularities, or noncompliance to the therapist
- Support a clean, organized, and welcoming Rehab environment
Required Qualifications
- Fluent Mandarin (spoken) — required
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or obtain prior to start)
- Authorized to work in the US
- Able to pass pre-employment physical exam and background check
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Detail-oriented; comfortable with structured documentation
- Able to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, and assist with participant mobility throughout the workday
Preferred Qualifications
- Cantonese fluency is highly preferred, Vietnamese is a plus
- Prior experience in ADHC, skilled nursing, rehab, or similar healthcare setting
- CNA, HHA, or restorative aide background
- Ability to use electronic health documentation systems and familiarity with using software
