Overview
The role of the Warehouse Associate involves picking and occasional shipping of all customer orders from the warehouse, receiving product in and putting away on shelves to keep stock replenished and up to date, as well as maintain the safety and neatness of the warehouse for the safety of all team members. Warehouse Associates are ultimately in charge of inventory at a business, warehouse, or office. They keep track of shipment and receiving schedules for both incoming and outgoing shipments. They track inventory counts and check the items in inventory for damages or discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Properly accounting for the location of incoming goods and organization and safety of warehouse.
- Assuring no damaged items are sent or received and documentation of damaged items.
- Comparing packing lists to company purchase orders and ensuring that the products in each delivery match the packing list and documenting and reporting mismatches.
- Receive products and unload from truck, label if applicable, sign and complete paperwork, inspect for damages, & put away on shelves to keep stock replenished & updated.
- Filling out of any product paperwork for returns and contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified.
- Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.) and update the product inventory as products are received and added to the inventory.
- Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries.
- Adhere to all company safety standards.
- Experience recording receiving’s in an ERP system.
- Experience Using Excel.
- Assist with Year-End Inventory.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar receiving and inventory position.
- Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
- Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects; exposure to hazardous equipment, exposure to sounds and noise levels that can be distracting.
- Ability and willingness to travel between facilities (valid driver's license and clean driving record required; company vehicle provided for inter-facility runs).
- Requires using ladders, forklifts, and ability to regularly lift to 50 pounds, and team lift 75-120 pounds.
- Requires work with others in a group or team with responsibility for work outcomes and results.
- Flexible schedule availability (may include occasional overtime or shift adjustments to support production needs).
- Basic computer skills for inventory systems, scanners, and data entry.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and push items on a regular basis.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
