Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Finance to lead our financial operations and drive fiscal success. This pivotal role involves overseeing financial planning, reporting, compliance, and risk management, ensuring the company's financial health aligns with its growth objectives. The ideal candidate will bring extensive accounting expertise, strategic insight, and leadership skills to our team.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies that support the company’s growth and operational efficiency.
- Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
- Manage budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and cost control initiatives to optimize profitability.
- Lead risk analysis efforts, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and managing financial risks effectively.
- Supervise the finance team, providing guidance on accounting systems, treasury management, and data analytics tools to enhance financial operations.
- Ensure accurate general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and cash flow analysis.
- Coordinate regulatory reporting requirements and ensure adherence to ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
- Drive strategic planning initiatives by developing financial projection models and analyzing industry trends for informed decision-making.
Requirements
- Proven experience in finance leadership roles with a strong background in accounting systems, financial management, and strategic planning.
- Extensive knowledge of IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS, GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and industry-specific financial regulations.
- Demonstrated expertise in corporate accounting, governmental accounting, non-profit accounting (if applicable), and public accounting practices.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools such as Excel data analysis, data analytics software, and financial software platforms.
- Strong understanding of treasury management, risk management, cost accounting, revenue management.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a collaborative environment.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; and a minimum of 7 years experience.

Pay: $103,176.02 - $160,000.00 per year
