Creative Corner Child Care Center is looking for a dependable, energetic, and caring Child Care Teacher to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who genuinely loves working with children, thrives in a positive team environment, and is committed to creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom experience every day.
This position is ideal for someone who is reliable, motivated, and passionate about helping children learn and grow.
Pay & Schedule
- $13–$15 per hour
- Full Time 30- 40 hours per week
- Monday–Friday
- Hours based on staffing needs
What You’ll Do
- Create a safe, positive, and structured environment for children
- Engage children in fun and age-appropriate learning activities
- Supervise children closely to ensure safety and well-being
- Support daily routines including:
- Meals/snacks
- Playground time
- Learning activities
- Nap/rest time
- Classroom transitions
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Work collaboratively with teachers and leadership staff
- Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
Required Qualifications
✔ High School Diploma or GED
✔ CPR & First Aid Certification (required)
✔ Ability to pass a background check
✔ Dependable, punctual, and responsible
✔ Positive attitude and strong work ethic
✔ Team player who works well with others
✔ Genuine love for working with children
✔ Willingness to learn, grow, and follow center policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous child care or early childhood education experience
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- Experience working in a licensed child care setting
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
- Ability to bend, sit, climb stairs, and interact at children’s level
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors
- Ability to see and hear clearly to ensure child safety
