Duties
- Provide expert hair styling, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care services tailored to each client’s needs.
- Perform hair coloring using advanced color theory techniques to achieve desired results while maintaining salon safety and sanitation standards.
- Conduct consultations with clients to recommend suitable treatments, retail products, and upselling opportunities that enhance their overall experience.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently using salon software such as MINDBODY; ensure smooth front desk operations and client flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, stations, and treatment areas in compliance with health regulations.
- Offer retail sales support by educating clients on products like hair threading supplies, styling tools, and skincare essentials.
- Mentor junior team members on technical skills such as straight razor shaving, hair threading, and retail math to foster professional growth within the team.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with full-time availability.
- Proven experience in hair styling, coloring, and advanced techniques such as hair extensions and eyelash extensions.
- Strong knowledge of salon software systems like MINDBODY for scheduling and client management.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and team members.
- Demonstrated expertise in sanitation practices, store management, retail sales, and upselling strategies.
- Ability to perform detailed services including makeup application, nail care, and hair threading with precision.
- Passion for continuing education in beauty trends such as color theory, haircutting techniques, and new styling tools.
