About the Opportunity
A growing automotive dealership group in the Greenville, SC area is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join a high-performing service team. This is a customer-facing, producing role for someone who can deliver an excellent service experience, communicate clearly with customers, and drive service revenue through strong advising and follow-up. The ideal candidate has prior dealership service advising experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced luxury automotive environment.
Responsibilities
● Greet service customers and perform thorough vehicle write-ups.
● Listen to customer concerns and accurately document service needs.
● Communicate recommended maintenance and repairs clearly and professionally.
● Build repair orders and coordinate with technicians and parts teams.
● Keep customers updated throughout the repair process.
● Present estimates, gain approvals, and communicate timelines.
● Review completed work with customers at vehicle delivery.
● Maintain strong CSI/customer satisfaction scores.
● Follow up with customers after service visits.
● Build long-term customer relationships and drive service retention.
● Meet or exceed performance, gross profit, and customer satisfaction goals.
Qualifications
● Prior dealership Service Advisor, Service Writer, or Assistant Service Manager experience in luxury automotive service is required.
● Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
● Ability to explain repairs and maintenance in a clear, customer-friendly way.
● Professional, polished presentation.
● Comfortable working in a performance-based, customer-facing environment.
● Strong multitasking skills and ability to manage a busy service lane.
● Valid driver license and clean driving record required.
● Ability to pass required background check and drug screen.
Compensation & Schedule
● Expected compensation: $100K-$125K+ for strong producers.
● Producing/performance-based role.
● Full-time, onsite position.
● 5-day workweek.
● Closed Sundays
Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
