Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will help ensure the safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal of roofing structures while adhering to all safety regulations and project specifications. Duties
- Install a variety of roofing materials including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, tile, and shingles according to project plans and specifications
- Conduct roofing repairs and restoration work to extend the lifespan of existing structures
- Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and blueprints to accurately execute roofing projects
- Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and safety harnesses effectively while following all construction safety protocols
- Perform siding installation, stucco application, caulking, masonry work, and metal stud framing as needed for comprehensive building finishes
- Engage in heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions to complete projects efficiently
- Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for yourself and team members
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing or related trades such as siding installation or masonry
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings
- Familiarity with construction safety harnesses, ladder use, and other fall protection measures
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and scaffolding in outdoor settings
- Understanding of roofing repair techniques including single-ply membrane systems and metal roofing applications
- Ability to follow detailed construction plans and safety protocols accurately
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely
- Prior experience in remodeling or handyman tasks such as tile laying or caulking is a plus
- Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to OSHA standards is essential
