Are you passionate about both yoga and fitness? Do you love creating an energetic class experience while helping students feel welcomed, challenged, and successful?
YogaSix Bellevue is looking for an inspiring Sculpt & Flow Instructor to join our teaching team!
Unlike traditional yoga with weights, Sculpt & Flow begins with an energizing power yoga warm-up before transitioning into a full-body cross-training workout using dumbbells, blocks, resistance, and bodyweight exercises. The class finishes with yoga-based stretching and a restorative savasana, leaving students feeling both strong and grounded.
Our members love this unique blend of yoga and fitness, and we're looking for an instructor who enjoys building relationships just as much as building strength.
Why Teach at YogaSix Bellevue?
YogaSix Bellevue is a welcoming, all-level yoga community, and we pride ourselves on our supportive membership, dedicated teachers, and committed leadership. Our instructors are passionate about guiding students on their unique journeys on the yoga mat. We leave our egos at the door and collaborate to foster a safe, inclusive environment.
As part of our team, you'll receive coaching, mentorship, and ongoing support from our Lead Teacher. Whether you're experienced or looking to grow in this format, we're committed to helping you become the strongest instructor you can be.
We value instructors who:
- Create genuine connections with students
- Foster an inclusive, welcoming environment
- Continue learning and growing in their teaching
- Bring positive energy, authenticity, and professionalism to every class
We Value Demo-Led Instruction:
At Y6 Bellevue, instructors regularly demonstrate key poses and transitions, providing both visual and verbal guidance. We believe the teacher should be the "lighthouse" in the room, helping students stay connected to their own practice. Intentional pose demonstration on and off your mat throughout the room is an important part of our teaching style.
We Value Props:
We encourage instructors to demonstrate the use of props throughout class. Modeling prop options helps create a more accessible and empowering experience for both new and seasoned yogis.
We Value Community:
Teachers are encouraged to warmly welcome and engage with students before and after class. We value learning students’ names, introducing yourself to new faces, and helping returning students feel seen, known, and connected within the studio community.
