The Senior/Principal Equipment Technician serves as the technical expert responsible for manufacturing equipment readiness, robotics assembly support, calibration systems, equipment validation, and mentoring technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own manufacturing equipment readiness.
- Act as technical owner for robotic assembly and automated equipment.
- Lead system-level troubleshooting.
- Maintain validated equipment state.
- Analyze equipment performance trends.
- Develop maintenance strategies.
- Train and mentor technicians.
- Support design reviews and audits.
Qualifications
- 6–10 years of medical device manufacturing experience.
- Engineering degree preferred.
- Extensive electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience.
- Strong GMP knowledge.
- Leadership experience without direct people management.
