- Arcade Monsters is now known across the country as a destination location. San Diego is the companies 6th location and contains the greatest lineup of arcade games of all time including retro classics, pinball, rhythm games, experiential and interactive games, skill-based, driving, fighting games, consoles, and the newest advancements in the gaming industry. Each location is its own art exhibit, featuring one of a kind blacklight, anime, and gaming murals. We offer a food menu, a blacklight bar with themed drinks, beer, and wine, as well as rare Japanese merchandise.
- Kitchen Staff: Looking for part time and full time kitchen line cooks, prep cooks to run the kitchen operation. Certifications preferred but will be provided.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable Kitchen Team Member to join our team. This role focuses on preparing and cooking food to company standards while supporting overall kitchen operations, including prep work and maintaining cleanliness. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in consistency and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Complete daily prep tasks such as cutting and prepping limes, fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients
- Make house items (e.g., plushies and other specialty menu components) according to company procedures
- Ensure all food is portioned, labeled, and stored correctly
- Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Keep kitchen, prep areas, and equipment clean and organized at all times
- Wash dishes, utensils, and sanitize workstations throughout shifts
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with stocking, organizing inventory, and receiving deliveries
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and timely service
- Take direction from supervisors and support team needs as required
Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable and punctual with good teamwork skills
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Comfortable working in a hot and busy kitchen environment
