Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a steady flow of seating and service
- Assist with bussing dishes, glassware, utensils, and linens from tables to ensure cleanliness and order
- Support food runners and servers by delivering food and beverages when needed
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables after each guest
- Help with setting up dining spaces for special events or catering functions
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate timely table turnovers and guest needs
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation practices
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required
- Strong cleaning skills with an eye for detail to ensure a hygienic environment
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and guests
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and carrying trays or supplies
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards within the food industry is a plus
- Experience working in hotel or restaurant settings enhances your ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to learn are essential qualities for success in this role
