About Quality Design & Remodel
Quality Design & Remodel, the Capital Region's premier design and remodeling firm, is seeking an experienced Project Estimator to join our award-winning team. We've built our reputation on exceptional communication, proven processes, and superior craftsmanship - and we need a detail-oriented professional to help us continue exceeding client expectations.
- 20+ years of experience in home remodeling

- Specializing in kitchen, bathroom, basements, and home addition projects
- Two locations: Delmar, NY and Clifton Park, NY
- Part of a larger organization with property management and new construction experience
What You'll Do
- Project Estimation: Create detailed, accurate estimates for kitchen, bathroom, basements and home addition projects using Buildertrend software
- Site Visits: Conduct on-site measurements and assessments to ensure precise project scoping
- Design Collaboration: Work with our Sales team, Designers and Project Managers to develop and accurately price our projects
- Process Development: Assist in developing and refining the company’s estimating process, including documenting any procedures, improvements, or workflows implemented.
- Client Interaction: Participate in client consultation
- Office Work: Prepare detailed takeoffs, material lists, and pricing documentation
- Material ordering: Place orders and create purchase orders for project materials
- Trades: Meet with our trade partners to help them understand the projects and provide accurate bids
- Project Support: Collaborate with project managers and trades throughout the construction process
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of estimating experience in residential remodeling or related industry
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and labor requirements
- Experience with additions, kitchen and bathroom renovations preferred
- Proficiency with estimating software (Buildertrend and Chief Architect experience a plus)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills for client and team interactions
- Positive attitude
- Ability to read architectural plans and specifications
- Valid driver's license for site visits

Compensation
- Competitive Salary: $85,000 or higher for extensive experience/qualifications
