General Labor / Basic Equipment Operator
Location: Plymouth, Utah
A local contractor is seeking dependable, hardworking General Labor / Basic Equipment Operators to join our team. We are looking for motivated individuals who take pride in their work, show up ready to work every day, and are willing to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced industrial environment.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, can adapt to changing job assignments, and are comfortable working outdoors and in industrial settings throughout the year. No two days are the same, and successful candidates must be willing to assist with a variety of labor, cleanup, equipment operation, material handling, and site support tasks as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor and site support duties.
- Operate basic equipment safely and efficiently as assigned.
- Assist with industrial cleanup, material handling, and project support activities.
- Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment.
- Perform shoveling, sweeping, lifting, and other physically demanding tasks.
- Assist equipment operators and crew members with daily operations.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
- Follow all company and site-specific safety requirements.
Qualifications:
- Prior construction, industrial, labor, or equipment operating experience preferred.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in outdoor conditions, including extreme heat, cold, dust, wind, and changing weather conditions.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Safety-conscious mindset with the ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Employment eligibility verified through E-Verify.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
