CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Classroom Management: Maintain a clean, bright, organized, and completely safe learning environment tailored for infants.
- Curriculum Implementation: Prepare, plan, and implement age-appropriate classroom lesson plans, instructional aids, and developmental activities.
- Parent Communication: Keep families connected through daily notes, developmental profiles, and scheduled parent/teacher conferences.
- Child Support: Guide, supervise, and counsel children as social, academic, or classroom adjustment situations arise.
- Team Collaboration: Direct the activities of assistant teachers in your classroom to ensure an orderly, nurturing environment. Maintain attendance, accident reports, and academy paperwork.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Compliance: Must fully meet all Texas state licensing requirements for an early childhood educator.
- Experience: Experience teaching infant children in a licensed, accredited early childhood facility or daycare center
- Demeanor: Pleasant, warm, professional, and highly dependable.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to consistently lift and carry up to 40 pounds throughout the workday.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
