PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

We are currently seeking a Production Coordinator to join our fabrication team in Columbus, Georgia.
Position Overview
As a Production Coordinator, you will support shop operations by organizing, tracking, and coordinating fabrication information to help ensure production runs efficiently and projects stay on schedule. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys working closely with production teams.
What you will bring:
· Experience in a manufacturing environment (equivalent combinations of education and experience would be considered)
· Understanding of the Structural Steel Industry would be an asset.
· Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to demonstrate rigor, resourcefulness, initiative versatility and determination.
· Attention to detail and focus on quality.
· Ability to work within a team, collaborative spirit, and strong ability to manage priorities.
· Experience working in a high-volume busy environment where multi-tasking is required.
· Comfortable with computers and working with product tracking programs along with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel)
What you’ll work on:
· Printing Fabrication Drawings and Labels
· Organizing & Filing Fabrication Drawings
· Creating Detailed Project Information on excel spreadsheets.
· Creating Fabrication Routing Plans on a tracking program
· Tracking Fabrication Progress and addressing issues with the fabrication team
· Developing material orders based on upcoming work requirements.
· Creating Shipping Bills
· Tracking Project Fabrication Manhours
Shift:
· Monday to Thursday: 7:00am to 4:30pm | Friday: 7:00am to 4:00pm
