Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our residential remodeling team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of carpentry and construction tasks on home renovation projects, including kitchen and bathroom remodels, basement finishing, home additions, and whole-house renovations.
This role requires strong craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers, subcontractors, and homeowners to deliver high-quality results. The ideal candidate has experience in residential construction and takes pride in creating beautiful, functional spaces for clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform rough and finish carpentry work for residential remodeling projects.
- Frame walls, ceilings, and other structural elements in accordance with construction plans and building codes.
- Install doors, windows, trim, baseboards, crown molding, cabinetry, and other finish carpentry components.
- Assist with kitchen, bathroom, basement, and whole-home renovation projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate execution of work.
- Install drywall, perform minor repairs, and prepare surfaces for finishing as required.
- Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment.
- Assist with demolition and site preparation while protecting existing finishes and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure projects remain on schedule and meet quality standards.
- Follow all company safety policies and maintain a professional and organized job site.
- Perform general construction and repair work as needed to support residential remodeling projects.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience as a carpenter in residential construction or home remodeling.
- Strong knowledge of rough and finish carpentry techniques.
- Experience with kitchen and bathroom renovations, basement finishing, and home additions is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and common construction equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of drywall, trim work, flooring installation, and other residential finish work is an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift materials, climb ladders, and perform demanding construction tasks safely.

Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour
