We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused
Press Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating molding presses, ensuring product quality, maintaining safety standards, and supporting efficient production processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
We have up to 18 openings on all shifts!
Shifts:
1st shift - 7am to 3pm
2nd shift - 3pm to 11pm
3rd shift - 11pm to 7am
Overtime is mandatory and includes weekends
Currently working 7 days a week. LOTS OF OT!!
Pay increases with training:
$19 per hour to start
Raises given as you master your training.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate molding press equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Monitor assigned work area for safety concerns and report issues immediately
- Troubleshoot molding and production issues to meet quality and output expectations
- Perform quality checks on parts during unloading and between production cycles
- Package finished goods properly (boxes, pallets, tubs) according to specifications
- Follow process sheets, special instructions, and perform required process checks
- Monitor and record temperature, tonnage, and cure time per shift
- Complete all required documentation (production checks, scrap reports, downtime logs) accurately and on time
- Maintain clear communication with team members, line leads, and supervisors
- Ensure proper labeling and batch control with tickets in all containers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE
Qualifications
- Ability to successfully complete Operator Training Program
- Ability to safely push/pull molds and operate press equipment
- Must be able to wear all required PPE
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Education & Experience
- No prior experience required (manufacturing experience is a plus)
- On-the-job training provided
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to push, pull, and move materials as needed
Work Environment
- Manufacturing/plant setting
- Exposure to moderate to high noise levels
- Exposure to heat and humidity
