NOW HIRING: FULL-TIME PM COOK
Congregational Home has an immediate need for a Full-Time PM Cook!
PM Shift: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
- Trains service personnel on proper plating procedures by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring food is at the correct temperature, and ensuring meals are attractive and taste well.
- Cleans the kitchen after preparation and serving while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
- Performs assigned group leader functions, including coordinating daily work with cooks and assisting with training new cooks as directed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education and/or formal training as a Cook: Two-year Associate Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience/training.
- Serve-Safe Certification preferred.
