Duties
- Perform cleaning duties throughout the restaurant, including dining areas, kitchens,
- Assist with bussing tables by clearing dishes, glassware, and utensils promptly and efficiently.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, and trash in accordance with safe lifting practices.
- Support food service staff by setting tables with appropriate utensils, napkins, and condiments to prepare for guest arrivals.
- Maintain open internal communication with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and service needs effectively.
- Ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed during food handling and storage to uphold food safety standards.
- Support serving staff by delivering food orders accurately and courteously to guests when needed.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and table setting procedures.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests.
- Understanding of food safety protocols within the food industry.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
