The CNC Machinist produces machined parts by programming, setting up and operating a numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Complete CNC machine set up and operation
Tool selection and application
Inspection equipment selection, setting and application
Program retrieval and editing
Program optimization and efficiency
Accurate and complete dimension reporting
Material and part traceability per DDD requirements
Quality issue reporting
Communication essential to the success of our customers and company
Requirements:
Must be mechanically inclined, able to think outside the box and solve problems
Must have experience in a dynamic shop environment
Capable of altering programs to fit the application and maximum efficiency
Knowledge of optimal feeds and speeds on multiple types of materials
Capable of making adjustments to adhere to schedules and routing times
Must have good attendance record
Candidates must have the determination and sense of urgency to produce quality product(s) in a timely manner. Must be able to switch gears quickly, make multiple set ups.
Candidates must pass a drug screen.
Pay depends on skills and experience.
