Responsibilities

- Support cooking processes by following recipes and instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors.
- Handle food handling tasks such as plating, garnishing, and presentation to ensure appealing dishes.
- Support serving staff by bussing tables, refilling supplies, and ensuring guest areas are clean and inviting.
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when required.
- Contribute to kitchen cleanliness by washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and managing waste disposal efficiently.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including food handling and preparation.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous banquet or hotel kitchen experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in various culinary settings.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is beneficial for order management tasks.
