Position Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dependable Barback to support our bartending team and help ensure smooth bar operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has a strong work ethic, and is interested in growing within the hospitality industry. Barbacks are responsible for keeping the bar stocked, clean, and organized so bartenders can focus on providing excellent guest service.
Essential Responsibilities
- Stock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, glassware, and bar supplies throughout the shift.
- Refill ice bins, prepare garnishes, and restock straws, napkins, and other necessities.
- Change beer kegs and assist with inventory organization.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including counters, coolers, and storage areas.
- Remove used glassware and assist with bussing bar-top and lounge areas.
- Assist bartenders during busy periods to ensure efficient service.
- Clean spills, dispose of trash, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Support opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or bar experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organization.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must meet Idaho age requirements for serving in a bar environment.
