Travel Medication Technician for a long‑term care facility near Port Townsend, Washington. This 13‑week contract offers up to $35 per hour for 40 hours per week, with day, evening, and night shifts. The role involves administering medication, documenting in EMR, and supporting resident care.
Administer medications accurately per physician orders and facility policies.
Document medication administration and resident responses in the EMR.
Observe residents for medication side effects or changes in condition and report concerns promptly.
Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
Maintain accurate medication records and inventory.
Follow infection prevention and medication safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with nurses, providers, residents, and family members.
Support a positive, compassionate, and team‑oriented environment.
Current Washington State Medication Technician (Med Tech) certification or eligibility.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Minimum one year of recent Medication Technician experience, preferably in Long‑Term Care or Assisted Living.
Strong medication administration knowledge and documentation skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
