Starting at $13.00/hour
This position will require an individual capable of maintaining one elderly housing apartment building in Williamsport, PA (1290 Grove Street, Williamsport, PA). The successful applicant will be able to work without direct supervision and willing to work flexible hours, approximately 8-10 per week. Occasional after-hours work will consist of responding to emergency calls (i.e. lock-outs from apartments, no heat, water leaks, etc.).
The maintenance work will consist of general maintenance:
- Painting
- Minor electrical repair
- Minor plumbing repair
- Testing the emergency lights, and other minor repairs to the common areas, apartments, and building grounds.
- Maintenance personnel will also be required to be familiar with the building fire alarm and security system, emergency lighting system, and the heating and hot water systems.
