As part of our vessel maintenance team, you’ll help maintain and repair critical systems that support daily marine operations. No two days are the same — this role offers a wide variety of hands-on work and real responsibility.
Responsibilities may include:
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Assisting with diesel engine maintenance and repair
- Working on marine electronics and vessel support systems
- Performing paint, refinishing, and sealant applications
- Supporting fabrication and repair projects
- Assisting with HVAC and plumbing-related maintenance
- Using tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Working collaboratively to complete projects efficiently and safely
Experience or working knowledge in any of the following areas is highly valued:
- Electrical systems
- Marine electronics
- Diesel engines and mechanical systems
- Hydraulic systems
- Rigging principles
- HVAC systems
- Troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Metal fabrication
- Paint and refinishing work
- Basic plumbing (threaded and crimp-style piping)
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Comfortable working with hand and power tools
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Commitment to safety and doing quality work
- Willing and able to work overtime as directed by their supervisor to meet operational demands
