Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Home Health Biller to join our growing agency. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of home health billing processes, EVV compliance, and experience working with HHA Exchange and/or KanTime.
This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate claims submission, revenue cycle performance, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit and manage home health claims (Medicaid & Managed Care)
- Verify authorizations and ensure billing aligns with approved hours
- Review and reconcile EVV visit data prior to claim submission
- Resolve claim denials and rejections in a timely manner
- Monitor AR aging and follow up on outstanding claims
- Ensure compliance with state EVV requirements
- Communicate with payers regarding billing discrepancies
- Collaborate with intake, staffing, and clinical departments to resolve documentation issues
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of home health billing experience required
- Working knowledge of EVV systems required
- Experience with HHA Exchange preferred
- Experience with KanTime highly preferred
- Strong understanding of Medicaid and Managed Care billing
- Knowledge of authorizations and visit verification processes
- Ability to analyze denials and identify root causes
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
