Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair various home appliances using detailed schematics and technical manuals
- Install new appliances safely and efficiently, ensuring proper connection of electrical, plumbing, and ventilation systems
- Troubleshoot equipment issues by interpreting electrical diagrams, ladder logic (if applicable), and mechanical components
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform repairs and maintenance tasks
- Conduct routine inspections of appliances to identify potential issues before they escalate
- Operate company vehicles such as box trucks for timely delivery and service calls
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain repairs, provide maintenance tips, and ensure satisfaction during every interaction
Experience
- Proven experience in appliance repair or field service roles with a focus on home appliances or HVAC systems
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience for troubleshooting complex issues
- Familiarity with schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and ladder logic used in equipment troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems, plumbing connections, and HVAC units is highly desirable
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment for appliance repair
- Experience operating company vehicles such as box trucks or delivery trucks in a safe manner
- Customer service experience that emphasizes clear communication and problem-solving skills
