Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Assist customers with product selection, providing detailed information on features, benefits, and pricing
- Handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills, including cash handling, cashiering, and cash management
- Support financial service processes such as loan processing and account inquiries with clarity and professionalism
- Maintain a clean, organized sales floor to ensure an inviting shopping environment
- Use financial software to process transactions, update customer accounts, and manage sales data efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction at every touchpoint
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Basic math skills including 10 key typing proficiency and retail math are essential for accurate transactions
- Familiarity with banking or financial services can be advantageous for explaining financial products and services
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with diverse customers and team members
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with financial software or point-of-sale systems is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
