We are looking for a Server to join the opening team of our new Omakase Restaurant in Rockridge, Oakland.
Pay is $18.00/hour + tips.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and professional guest service.
- Take orders, explain menu items, and communicate allergies or special requests.
- Serve and run food and beverages with proper timing.
- Clear, and reset tables throughout service.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining and service area.
- Work closely with the Sushi Chef, kitchen, and other team members to provide a smooth omakase dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience preferred.
- Sushi, Japanese restaurant, omakase experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and hospitality skills.
- Professional, reliable, attentive, and team-oriented.
- Willing to learn sushi, Japanese cuisine, sake, and wine.
