We are looking for someone who has direct experience operating a Texas Medicaid behavioral health program and can help build and scale a Mental Health Rehabilitative Services (MHRS) organization.
The ideal candidate has experience with:
- Texas Medicaid
- TMHP
- Mental Health Rehabilitative Services (MHRS)
- Targeted Case Management (TCM)
- QMHP supervision
- CANS / ANSA
- Treatment plans
- Authorizations
- Clinical documentation compliance
- Medicaid audits
- Census growth
- Behavioral health operations
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day MHRS operations
- Assist with intake and authorization workflows
- Support census growth and referral development
- Supervise operational processes
- Monitor documentation compliance
- Coordinate with Clinical Director and CEO
- Develop scalable operational systems
- Prepare for audits and quality reviews
Required Experience
Applicants should have direct experience in at least one of the following:
- Program Director for MHRS
- Director of Community Services
- Behavioral Health Operations Manager
- Medicaid Behavioral Health Program Manager
- Similar leadership role within a Texas Medicaid behavioral health organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience launching or scaling an MHRS program
- Experience managing QMHPs
- Experience working with TMHP and Texas Medicaid Managed Care Organizations
- LPC, LCSW, LMFT, QMHP, or related behavioral health background
Compensation
- Contract position initially
- Approximately 10–20 hours per week
- Opportunity to transition into a leadership role as census grows
