Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as Fireplace Installers. This position offers a starting pay of $17 up to $27, dependent on experience and upon completion of training. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a reliable work ethic and a quick learning ability.
A strong background in construction and installation is ideal, but not required. Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing and servicing various types of fireplaces, ensuring they are safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. The Fireplace Installer will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, including building, restoring, and maintaining fireplace systems. Will train the ideal candidate.
We are committed to providing our employees with the necessary training to succeed in this valuable trade. No prior experience in fireplace installation is required; however, experience in new construction job sites is considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Install, assemble and service gas, pellet, electric and wood fireplaces according to specifications and safety standards in residential, commercial, and new construction homes and businesses.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for fireplace design.
- Conduct site assessments to determine installation requirements and challenges.
- Build and restore fireplace structures using various materials including stucco, concrete, and wood.
- Ensure all installations comply with local building codes and regulations.
- Work with plumbing and electrical systems as necessary for gas or electric fireplaces.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment during installations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns.
Requirements
- A Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug screen is required.
- Climbing ladders and working from heights on roofs, so physical fitness and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Organized and clean work habits.
- Reliable and trustworthy character.
- Experience in construction management or related fields is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
