Overview
Join our dedicated caregiving team as a Caregiver, where your compassion and language skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings. This role offers an energetic and rewarding opportunity to provide vital support to individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with developmental disabilities, and residents requiring memory or dementia care. Your efforts will promote independence, comfort, and dignity for every individual you serve.
Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and maintain detailed documentation using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
- Monitor vital signs regularly to ensure residents’ health and promptly report any concerns to healthcare professionals
- Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care strategies and behavior management techniques
- Support residents during meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring nutritional needs are met in a safe environment
- Engage residents in social activities and companionship to promote mental well-being and social interaction
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment by assisting with light cleaning duties within personal care homes or group homes
Requirements
- Proven experience in long-term care settings such as nursing homes, retirement homes, or personal care homes
- Knowledge of assisted living procedures and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR is highly preferred
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and vital signs monitoring
- Ability to communicate fluently in Korean and English to effectively support residents and collaborate with team members
- Experience with EMR systems for documentation purposes
- Valid driver’s license for driving responsibilities related to home & community care services (if applicable)
- Compassionate attitude combined with excellent caregiving skills focused on resident safety and well-being

Pay: $18.75 - $20.00 per hour
