We are hiring a Production Associate to join our team! Majesty's Animal Nutrition manufactures supplements and treats for companion animals. We are a family business growing quickly and are looking for a Production Associate with attention to detail, a self starter and who wants to grow with the company. The position is Friday thru Sunday, with the hours of 5:00am-5:30pm.
Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain and clean manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion.
- Weighing, Mixing, extruding products.
- Creating products with the ability to read recipes.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Assist in packaging products as needed.
- Maintaining set quality standards.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math skills, able to read and write at high school level.
- Able to follow written and verbal direction.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing or other related fields prefered.
- Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Preferred background in production work, including baking, food processing and/or food handling.
- And of course loves animals.
