Join Our Team as a Paraprofessional / Teacher's Assistant!
Location: Bristol, CT
Shift:
- 1st shift: 8:00AM - 3:00PM, Monday to Friday (No summer shutdown)
Hourly Pay: $18.00/hr
Responsibilities:
- Support Special Education Teachers in the classroom
- Prepare lessons and assist in teaching students
- Provide direct support to students
- Enforce class and school rules to promote positive behavior
- Reinforce lessons through one-on-one or small group reviews
- Assist with behavior management and track student behavior
- Prepare classroom materials as needed
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong work ethic and patience are essential
- No prior experience required; however, experience working with children or older adults is preferred.
