The ideal Busser/Runner is dedicated, energetic, and keep a great attitude. The Busser/Runner plays a crucial role to assist and support both front of house and back of house, ensuring that our dining area remains clean and welcoming for our guests and our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately. Your responsibilities will include assisting servers, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall efficiency of our restaurant operations. Primary Job Duties– Includes but is not limited to:
- Greet and welcome all guests in a professional manner.
- Maintain table cleanliness by removing finished courses and replenishing cutlery, when needed.
- Assist in the delivery of food and beverage to support Server, Host, and facilitate communication between BOH and FOH.
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and delivered to each guest in a timely manner.
- Maintain clean and well stocked workstations and prepare venue table settings.
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure accuracy of order.
- Deliver beverages, including alcoholic options to guests.
- Assist servers by refilling drinks, delivering food items, and providing any necessary support during service.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing utensils and condiments.
- Ensure that all dishes are properly washed and stored in accordance with food handling standards.
- Carry and push heavy (approximately 30lbs) trays and carts of glassware and items as directed by management.
- Ensure all Hot Noods Noodle Bar core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.
- Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
- Use personal device/ cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review company documents, etc.
- Pose for pictures or videos as requested by management, appear in uniform or designated (logo) apparel for promotional activities at or away from venue.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:
Ability to obtain the following:
- Alcohol Awareness Card
- Food Handling Card
- LVMPD Work Card
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- At least 21 years of age.
- High Volume Restaurant: 1-3 years (Required)
- Experience as a Busser, Runner, or Valet a plus
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.
- Polished appearance and demeanor.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
- Knowledge of operational policies in health and safety, liquor licensing, food hygiene, and emergency procedure.
- At least six months of previous customer service experience in a similar or related field.
- Previous experience in food and beverage.
- Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting.
