Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, windows, and furniture to meet hotel standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and dining areas.
- Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
- Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to uphold a polished appearance.
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures when handling chemicals and equipment.
- Report maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding confidentiality, security, and guest privacy at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work within hotels or similar hospitality environments.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing surfaces.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and hospitality standards to deliver exceptional guest service.
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks efficiently using specialized equipment and cleaning agents.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards consistently.
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
