- Weekend Double - 7a-11p Saturday and Sunday - work 32 hrs get paid for 40hrs

Join our dynamic healthcare team as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or RN (Registered Nurse), where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in long term care. You will utilize your nursing expertise to improve patient outcomes and support individuals with a wide range of healthcare needs. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health histories to determine individual care needs.
- Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and other specialized treatments such as botulinum toxin or catheterization procedures.
- Manage complex medical documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth to ensure compliance with HIPAA and long-term care regulations.
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or other memory impairments, including memory and behavioral health management.
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory specimen collection, medical imaging coordination, and diagnostic testing like spinal taps or cardiac catheterizations.
- Support emergency response efforts by managing airway management, ventilator use, and acute pain management in high-pressure environments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop discharge plans, case management strategies, and coordinate home & community care services for long-term and post-acute patients.
Requirements
- Valid LPN or RN license in good standing with current state certification.
- Experience working with diverse populations including geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring hospice or palliative care.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or Athenahealth; familiarity with ICD-9/10 coding is preferred.
- Knowledge of infection control protocols, HIPAA confidentiality policies, and long-term care regulations.
- Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, medication administration (including injections), venipuncture, and sterile technique.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as hospital medicine units or urgent care clinics while maintaining attention to detail and compassion.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
