We are currently seeking skilled FCAW and SMAW Welders to join our manufacturing team, specializing in watertight enclosures such as doors, hatches, and scuttles for the US Navy. As a valued member of our team, you will play an essential role in creating and assembling high-quality metal products while adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00/hour based on experience and welding ability (evaluated during interview weld test)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours minimum commitment out of a 45-hour available workweek)
Requirements: US Citizenship, safety boots, and welding helmet
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble finished metal products using specialized welding equipment
- Install and repair equipment and components as necessary
- Interpret blueprints to ensure product meets specifications
- Accurately calculate material measurements for project requirements
- Assess weld quality and tolerances to maintain high standards
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in welding, manufacturing, or related fields
- Proficient in FCAW and SMAW welding techniques, tools, and procedures
- Familiar with engineering blueprints and schematics
- Physically capable of handling the demands of the job
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively
