Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Teacher’s Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment for young children. Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Support children with their activities, ensuring they are engaged, safe, and supported in their development
- Help manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques
- Provide attentive care during activities such as diapering, feeding, nap time, and outdoor play
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play
- Participate in ongoing training related to first aid, childcare safety protocols, and early childhood education best practices
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education strategies is highly valued
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies is advantageous
- Certification in first aid or CPR is desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided for the right candidate

Pay: $17.50 - $22.12 per hour
