Duties
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards, including operating kitchen equipment and handling food safely.
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as BRINK POS, ensuring quick and friendly service.
- Manage cash register operations, process cash transactions, and handle retail sales transactions with precision.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities through effective communication.
- Maintain a clean workspace by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed at all times.
- Assist in food safety management by following sanitation protocols and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as serving customers, processing orders, and operating kitchen equipment efficiently.
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong food preparation skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems like BRINK POS for processing orders and transactions smoothly.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods.
- Strong customer service abilities with a friendly attitude and clear communication skills.
- Ability to handle cash accurately, process payments efficiently, and perform basic math calculations confidently.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store operations is a plus, demonstrating versatility in food industry roles.
