Job Title: Warehouse Technician
Job Type: Contract; 4-5 Months
Location: Dallas, Texas 75247
Pay Rate: $20/hr.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Asset tagging and prepare computers, servers, and/or peripherals for shipment to customer locations
- Label and store products in an organized manner that coordinates with the inventory system and facilitates relocation of products when required
- Assist in material handling, loading/unloading incoming/outgoing shipments, parts and materials maintained at the Warehouse in accordance with proper handling for the contents (computer equipment, monitors, etc. should not be damaged during handling)
- Use standard hand tools, have knowledge of proper packaging and crating methods, and possess knowledge of correct truck loading procedures; and additional duties based on active projects
- Perform general clean-up duties at the Warehouse to maintain an environment suitable for customer tours
Requirements:
· Attention to detail and excellent work ethic
· Dependability; Candidates must be able to commit to the duration of the assignment- 4-5 months expected
· Warehouse, shipping and receiving, inventory, material handling, etc. experience desired
- This position must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Employment is contingent upon a standard criminal history background check investigation
