Radon Technician — Upfront Radon Full-time | Will train the right candidate
Upfront Radon is hiring a Radon Technician to join our team. No radon certification required — we’ll train you and support you through NRPP/NRSB certification. This is a great fit for someone with a hands-on trade background (HVAC, construction, home inspection, general contracting) who’s looking to build a specialized, in-demand skill. No experience is required
What you’ll do
- Install radon mitigation systems (piping, fans, sealing entry points)
- Use testing equipment and follow EPA/state protocols
- Communicate clearly with homeowners and realtors about results and next steps
- Maintain accurate job records and testing documentation
- Travel to job sites throughout the service area
What we’re looking for
- Comfortable working in crawlspaces, basements, and attics
- Basic mechanical/tool skills (drilling, PVC piping, electrical basics a plus)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong customer service — you’re often the face of the company at someone’s home
- Willingness to obtain radon certification (paid training provided)
